Coach Nick recently finished his collegiate playing career as a part of the Oklahoma City University men’s basketball team. During the 2024-25 season, the Stars were ranked as high as #23 in the NAIA Top 25 poll and recored a pair of wins over NAIA Top 5 teams. Overall, Coach Nick appeared in 94 games with the Stars, helping lead the team 56-63 record during that time.

Originally from Huntsville Alabama, Coach Nick played high school basketball for St. John Paul II where he averaged 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game. He was also a three-time team captain and three-time all-area selection.
